Bohémien returned on the stage in 2002 when Alex Buccini (voice), Luciano Liberatore (guitar) and Walter Vincenti (drums), three of the members of the original line up, decided to relive the band that originally existed between 1985 and 1987, recruiting in the project Giovanni Staccone (bass guitar) and Stefania Minutaglio (keyboards), later replaced by Gian Paolo Cesarini (bass, from 2009), Alessandra Romeo (keyboards, 2006-09) and Riccardo Magni (keyboards, from 2009).

1985-87: Having formed the band in 1985, they publish the demotape “Sangue e Arena” in december of the same year. After their live debut at the Piper, historical club in the center of Roma, they play numerous gigs all around Italy and disband in 1987.

from 2002: 15 years later, in 2002, Bohémien get back together keeping intact the roots of their deathrock/gothic sound characterized by its italian lyrics. After some gigs, in 2003, they publish the CD “Danze Pagane” (ITNT). Later the song “Eclissi (dell’ anima)” is included in the compilation “Pagan Love Songs” (Alice In/Dark Dimensions). In october 2005 they publish the EP “La Parata del Circo” (ITNT) and play in New York City 2 gigs during the third edition of the Drop Dead Festival. In september 2006, six months after Walter’s tragic death, they appear at DDF IV In NYC and at Die Wunderkur Festival in Bologna. In 2007 they are co-headliner at Bats Over Milan Festival, while in 2008 are headliner at Gothic Pogo Festival of Leipzig and in 2009 play with UK Decay at VIII Road to Ruins Punk Rock Festival at Rome. At moment, with the new drummer Valentina Larussa, the Bohémien are recording their new album.

BIOGRAFIA

I Bohémien sono tornati in attività nel 2002 quando Alex Buccini (voce), Luciano Liberatore (chitarra) e Walter Vincenti (batteria), tre membri della formazione originale esistita negli anni tra il 1985 e 1987, chiamando a far parte del progetto Giovanni Staccone (basso) e Stefania Minutaglio (tastiere), successivamente sostituiti da Gian Paolo Cesarini (basso, dal 2009), Alessandra Romeo (tastiere, 2006-09) e Riccardo Magni (tastiere, dal 2009).

1985-87: formandosi nel 1985, pubblicano il demotape "Sangue e Arena", nel dicembre dello stesso anno. Successivamente debuttano dal vivo al Piper Club, storico locale di Roma e tengono numerosi show in varie parti d'Italia, prima di sospendere le attività nel 1987.

dal 2002: 15 anni dopo, nel 2002, i Bohémien tornano di nuovo insieme, mantenendo intatte le radici del loro stile originario, caratterizzato da sonorità di ispirazione deathrock/gothic e dal cantato in italiano. Dopo alcune date dal vivo, nel 2003 pubblicano il CD "Danze Pagane" (ITNT). Più tardi il brano "Eclissi (dell'anima)" è incluso nella compilation "Pagan Love Songs" (Alice In/Dark Dimension). Nell'ottobre 2005 pubblicano l'EP "La Parata del Circo" (ITNT) e suonano per 2 volte a New York City, durante la III edizione del Drop Dead Festival. L'anno successivo, in settembre, sei mesi dopo la tragica morte di Walter, tornano a New York, suonando al IV Drop Dead Festival e partecipano al Die Wunderkur Festival di Bologna. Nell'ottobre 2007 sono co-headliner al Bats Over Milan Festival di Milano, mentre nel 2008 sono headliner al Gothic Pogo Festival di Lipsia e nel 2009 suonano con gli UK Decay all'VIII Road to Ruins Punk Rock Festival di Roma. Attualmente, con la nuova batterista Valentina Larussa, stanno preparando e registrando il loro nuovo album, previsto per il 2011.
