Hailing from Italy, Bohemien played Drop
Dead 3, and I'm glad they did! After seeing their fine performances, I happily
picked up their EP.
"La Parata Del Circo" is great deathrock, period! This EP has
four tracks of classic deathrock in the vein of Rozz and others of the era.
And yet, it is refreshingly new.
I love the organ on the title track.
"Anemia" is a great song, with keyboards that do not overpower,
pounding percussion, and female backup vocals.
"Nell'ora Dell'enigma" one of my favorites, comes in with more
spooky organ, and then urgent vocals with guitar bridges.
"Speechio" is another fine track with the bass holding everything
together and edgy guitar. !
Also included are two more versions of 'Anemia", one in English and
a remix. I can't wait to hear more from Bohemien. I want to go to Italy!
